The Role
EZwall Printing is seeking a Social Content Creator to work on our marketing team. This person, in conjunction with our Social Media Specialist, will help create content that forms deep connections with our customers on social media. We are a scrappy start-up and only beginning our adventure in social media. Our ideal candidate would be “part” social strategist, “part” social content creator, and “part” community manager. Ideally, someone who can do it all, excellently. We need help translating our brand and marketing strategy into social rollout plans: What is our “job to do” on each social platform? TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Who is the right audience? How can we measure success? And once established, we need help to create original, stand-out content that generates engagement.

In this role, you’ll need to bridge the analytical instincts of our company with the human appetite of our audiences, helping “internal clients” translate their great thinking into great marketing. Virtues for this role include generosity, speediness, and an ability to jump the highest bars. A sense of humor will help.

This position will report to the VP of Brand, and is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Support Social Media Specialist strategist in content creation.
  • Create original marketing content for social platforms.
  • Design graphic templates using style guides, etc. to keep the company on brand.
  • Translate marketing strategy into dynamic stand-out content.
  • Stay on top of data and analytics as to what is working/not working with social content.
  • Ability to jump in quickly to handle everything from social media trends to trolls, etc.
  • ​Keep the team abreast of social trends, competitors’ content, etc.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of social media experience required.
  • A portfolio is required.
  • Knowledge of social media trends: TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
  • ​Production background (digital content experience) GFX background: Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • Understand the mindset of entrepreneurs and what motivates them. 
  • Proven social media management experience.
  • Tech/social media savvy.
  • ​Both creative and analytical - an understanding of basic content performance metrics.
  • ​Ability to create a lifecycle of content from creation to posting.
  • ​Ability to generate social content quickly and in a stylistic manner.
  • ​Strong writing/editing skills for campaign ideation and marketing strategies.
  • ​Understanding the visual requirements of each social media platform.
  • ​Proactive mindset - see a problem, solve it.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Prior tech social experience.
  • ​Had/have your own freelance business.
  • ​macOS and G-Workspace knowledge is a plus! 

This role is an hourly position and the compensation range is $18.00-$24.00 per hour based on a full-time schedule. The hourly rate will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. In this position, there is the potential to earn more with an annual bonus plan that is up to 25% of your annual base earnings.
